The Committees.
Nine committees across three formats, from large resolution-based assemblies to fast-moving crisis rooms. Explore each committee, its topic, and its directors.
Study guides will be released in the coming months.
General Assembly (GA)
General Assembly committees are large, resolution-based forums where delegates debate some of the most urgent issues on the international agenda. With broad participation and diverse national interests, they require strong public speaking, coalition-building and formal negotiation.
Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
ECOSOC committees are mid-sized and resolution-based, giving delegates more speaking time and closer negotiation. Debate is technical and policy-driven, focused on economic, social and development challenges that demand detailed and workable solutions.
Specialized Bodies and Crisis Committees
Specialized Bodies and Crisis are small, directive-based bodies built around fast-moving events and constant updates from the backroom. Delegates must respond quickly, form alliances and make strategic decisions as the situation changes in real time.
